Jet lag hurts…but this face, sleeping soundly, is totally worth the pain. Steffi and her lovely father, Karl, met us early this morning and we all drove to Schloss Drachenburg (“Dragon’s Castle”) on the Drachenfels hill in Königswinter. Had to take two cars, of course, as there are not many here that fit 5+ people. Sean enjoyed the speed limit (or lack-there-of) on the Autobahn. We’ve arrived in Düsseldorf
We made it! Our beautiful cousin Steffi met us at the airport and took us out for traditional schnitzel and beer of course. At dinner, we decided we will learn to count to 10 in German before we leave (not as easy as it sounds). Delicious meal and lots of fun catching up. Prost!
